An Esalen® Workshop.
From The Comfort of Your Home.

The six-week course runs June 28th - August 8th, 2021, and includes two hours a week of live, online instruction plus a one-hour Q&A session available weekly for attendees for a tuition of $580 or an early bird rate of $450 for those signing up by May 17th. The course is available as a stand-alone or as a prerequisite to a Death Doula Certification from Esalen Healing Arts.

Although most of us fear death, we are not consciously aware that death is a central part of what moves us beyond ourselves and serves as the basis for living meaningfully.

For anybody wishing to educate themselves about their approaching death and anyone who may one day care for a dying loved one, this course offers a new perspective.

  • Gain a deeper connection to what is most important

  • Develop a better relationship with aging

  • Cultivate deeper self-acceptance

  • Put an end to procrastination

  • Learn to live with a broken heart

  • Expand your relationship with self and others

Reverend Bodhi Be shares how he came to understand life as a process of learning to die well, and how we can all benefit from this insight.

“In restoring aging, dying, grieving and death back to their rightful places in the community commons and conversations, we become a more balanced, healthy and vibrant community. We reclaim the work of caring for the dying as community building and sacred work.”

-Reverend Bodhi Be
